My philosophy:
Life will shape us all.
Love will break our hearts open.
Relationships will humble us.
The people we care about will walk paths we can’t control.
Grief will visit every family eventually.
We will lose ourselves and find ourselves
many times across a lifetime.
The question isn’t whether we can avoid the complexity of being human.
We can’t.
Perhaps the deeper questions become:
How do we stay connected to ourselves and each other while moving through it?
And how might these very experiences invite us into deeper compassion, honesty, and connection?
